〔原発ＮＥＷＳ〕　米国、米軍の核「事後」専門家チーム　日本に派遣

 
 

　ニューヨーク・タイムズによると、ホワイトハウスは１６日夜、声明を発表し、オバマ大統領が菅首相に対し、核惨事対応・マネジメントを専門とする米軍のアセットを投入するなど、米国としての支援策を電話でブリーフィングした。

　ペンタゴンは米軍の専門家９人のチームを日本に派遣、政府・自衛隊と活動をともにし、今後の米軍がどんな追加支援すべきか判断する。

White House statement late Wednesday said that President Obama had “briefed Prime Minister Kan on the additional support being provided by the U.S., including specialized military assets with expertise in nuclear response and consequence management.”

On Thursday a Pentagon spokesman, Col. David Lapan, said the military expertise made available to the Japanese included a nine-person assessment team that has or will shortly arrive there to work with the Japanese military and government.

　前記ニューヨーク・タイムズの報道によると、米政府は北朝鮮の監視活動を使っているＵ２型機や「ホーク」無人偵察機を使って、現場など監視・モニターしている。

　炉の損傷は「ホーク」を、ツナミ被災はＵ２の分担だそうだ。　

　大沼：米軍は監視衛星をつかって、建屋の飛んだ炉の状況を監視しているはずだ。
米軍偵察衛星は、３次元での観測能力を持っている。
　米国が大惨事の警告を発しているのは、こうした機密の軍事情報を持っているからだ。

　前記ニューヨーク・タイムズの報道によると、米政府当局者の「最大の懸念」は、ヘリによる水の投下、地上からの放水が効き目をあらわしていないことだ。

　American officials said their biggest worry was that a frenetic series of efforts by the Japanese military to get water into some of the plant’s six reactors — including water cannons and firefighting helicopters that dropped water but appeared to largely miss their targets — showed few signs of working.

　ある当局者は、今やプランよりもプレイヤ（計画ではなく祈り）だ、と語った。
　“Right now this is more prayer than plan.”
